Our Flextrusion System is the answer to overcome the challenges that plastic extrusion producers face when using traditional tooling.  This new system enables an unprecedented level of control over the process through the use of increased sensors; at the same time it provides a new compression technique and the ability to adjust product dimensions and operating parameters during production.  The system also utilizes a newly designed calibrator sleeve that provides adjustability and maximizes heat transfer efficiency, and significantly improves cooling of the extruded pipe or profile.

To illustrate the cost savings provided by our Flextrusion System, HG Engineering has developed a spreadsheet that enables production managers to input their existing production rates, operating times and material costs and then calculate the savings that can be expected through the use of the Flextrusion tooling.  HG Engineering works with its customers to custom-design each tooling application for their specific requirements.
